Grounded Retreat
Our active, fun-loving clients envisioned a bathroom that felt both restorative and energizing while supporting their everyday routines with greater ease and functionality. Awkward ceiling angles, heavy soffits, and a choppy layout made the original space feel disjointed, but strategic architectural changes transformed the bathroom into a calmer, more cohesive retreat featuring an expansive shower, separate vanities, improved privacy, and softened architectural lines.
A handcrafted-inspired porcelain hex tile in a richly layered blue-green hue became the focal point of the new shower, bringing depth, movement, and artisanal character to the space. The tile’s natural variation creates an intentionally collected quality that complements the home’s modern rustic aesthetic, while warm wood tones, layered neutrals, and organic textures create a bathroom that feels both grounded and refined.
