About the Studio
Amy Krause Design is a renovation-focused interior design studio reimagining how people want to live at home. We partner with homeowners across the Kansas City metro on kitchen, bath, and whole-home renovations, bringing clarity to complex layouts, cabinetry decisions, and the details that shape daily life.
Founded by Kansas City interior designer Amy Krause, the studio pairs a warm, editorial eye with deep technical expertise. As a certified kitchen and bath designer, Amy treats beauty and function as equal partners, using cabinetry, space planning, and detailed renovation drawings to support how each client wants to live.
Our construction documents are clear and detailed, which keeps projects running smoothly and cuts down on-site surprises. We work with trade partners who respect the plan and loop us in on real-world questions, so adjustments happen thoughtfully.

Our Hopes & Dreams Planning Session is a two-hour, in-home consultation designed to explore what’s possible in your space. During this time, we walk through your home together, talk about how you currently live, review the inspiration images that speak to you, and identify opportunities to improve comfort, flow, and the ease of everyday living.
We’ll review your goals, answer questions, and uncover how design can improve the way your home looks, feels, and supports daily life.
For many clients, this session becomes the foundation for a larger design project.
